Shalex Sealit Multipurpose Acrylic Clear Waterproofing Compound is a water-based, general-purpose waterproofing solution designed for use on a wide range of substrates.
It is particularly effective on porous vertical masonry surfaces such as decorative concrete blocks and split-faced concrete. The clear formula penetrates and protects surfaces while maintaining their natural appearance.
SealIt provides a UV-stable finish that offers long-term protection against environmental exposure. Unlike traditional water-repellent sealers, SealIt can withstand hydrostatic pressure, making it ideal for areas exposed to heavy rain, flooding, and severe weather conditions.

Shalex SealIt Multipurpose is a water based general purpose clear waterproofing compound designed for use on a wide variety of substrates.
SealIt Multipurpose is especially suited to sealing and protecting porous vertical masonry surfaces such as split faced or decorative concrete blocks.
SealIt is particularly effective against wind driven rain and unlike ‘water repellent’ style sealers, can withstand hydrostatic pressures caused by significant weather events.
SealIt is UV stable and provides long term protection, for example 10 years or more.
EXCEPTIONAL ADHESION
SealIt Multipurpose dries to a clear low sheen finish and remains flexible to accommodate minor movement in the substrate.
SealIt can be over painted with any acrylic paint.
Due to exceptional adhesion SealIt is well suited as a primer for acrylic architectural topcoats, elastomerics and roofing paints.
As SealIt is a very soft sealer it is not suitable for use on horizontal surfaces that are subject to traffic (e.g. paths, pavers, floors etc) unless they are to be covered with tiles, carpet, or harder coatings.
HELPFUL TIP
DamIt™ Dam Sealer is insoluble and will form a long-term plug, in cracks and porous soils. The polymer stays active when wet and can withstand continuous wet/dry cycles to accommodate rising and falling water levels due to seasonal water level variations in the dam or pond.
DamIt™ Dam Sealer is a rapid, cost effective solution for sealing water leaks and does not require earthmoving equipment or the emptying of dams and ponds; allowing you to save valuable water and keep the dam or pond in use while repairs are undertaken.
DamIt™ Dam Sealer works on a wide range of soil types; from clays to sandy loams and in a wide range of water types; from clear, pure drinking water through to saline water with high levels of suspended clays typically found in rural stock dams.

Concrete structures such as water tanks, water troughs and ponds will often develop leaks over time. Small or seeping leaks can be difficult to detect, especially when the structure is underground. Dark patches in the concrete or algal growth often identifies problem areas.
